Quality Processes

All-Type Welding and Fabrication believes quality management begins from the time we receive your request for quote. Throughout every step of the process ATWF provides continuous quality management. Our Quality management system is ISO 9001:2000 certified.

We employ our Helmel Micro Star Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) throughout the inspection process to verify all dimensions and coordinates to ensure correctness. It is also used to verify our machines are cutting correctly which ensures cut and punch quality and minimizes scrap. All data is then stored electronically and can be used for future orders enabling ATWF to verify revision levels and process jobs to the shop floor quicker.

Beyond the electronic inspection processes ATWF also incorporates in process inspection throughout the manufacturing process:

• Order entry and verification
• Materials verification and procurement
• In process inspections at each work station
• Final inspection includes 100% inspection

Any discrepancies identified by the inspector gives the inspector the right to hold the shipment, not the owner, not the GM. Resulting in less rework, less scrap, better quality product out the door.

Upon completion of the job, all completed forms throughout the inspection process stay with the job after it is shipped to be used the next time the job comes through the shop floor. For customers that require inspection documents ATWF will send reports with the material for customer file.
